Quality grading is the assessment that Visit Wales (formerly Wales Tourist Board WTB) has of the overall quality of Chapel Guest House, in order to place us on a scale between 1 and 5 Stars, with 5 Stars denoting top quality. The grading visitor also checks that particular facilities, expected by consumers at certain Star grades, are present in our accommodation.

13 What is the difference between a Guest House and a B&B?
Chapel Guest House offers bed and breakfast accommodation, however we do understand the confusion most have, including some in the trade!
The main differences are that a Guest House usually has more facilities, is larger and usually run as a more commercialised home business. Whereas a bed and breakfast is smaller with less than 8 bed spaces and is generally 'letting' out spare rooms in their home.
Both have to adhere to the same strict health and safety aspects and the grading is carried out in the same way for both.
14 What is a Serviced Accommodation Apartment?
A Serviced Accommodation Apartment is an alternative to staying in a Hotel, Guesthouse or Bed & Breakfast.
The apartment is owned by 'At Home in the City' and it's name signifies what they represent - total freedom with and the feeling of being "at home whilst living in the City".
For those seeking self catering with a sense of 'renting' their own apartment in the Center of Newport City, the apartment is ideal for both business and leisure and can accommodate 1 to 4 people. The apartment is fully furnished to an excellent standard and is equipped with everything you need. 'At Home in the City' aim to make your stay a pleasurable and memorable one with the apartment serviced on a regular basis dependent on how long your stay is for. It can be let on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, with a minimum of 2 nights stay and represents excellent value for money. 'At Home in the City' can be contacted on 01633 266098 or 07723 000791

If the cancellation occurs within 72 hrs of arrival date, no refund is given. If cancellation is given with more than 72hrs notice (before arrival date) 80% will be refunded. NO refund is given on the 20% deposit once accommodation is booked.
We do recommend as with all holidays, you cover yourself by taking out holiday insurance. If you hold an annual holiday insurance policy, you may already be covered, however please do check as we cannot be held responsible for any loss incurred should a cancellation occur.
