Gary & Sharon welcome you to the
CHURCH HOUSE INN - St Brides NEWPORT
The village of St Brides Wentlooge is located just off the B4239 southwest of Newport and close to the mouth of the River Severn. It's well worth seeking out in order to enjoy the quality food and drink on offer at the Church House Inn which is found just a few hundred yards from the village's 13th century church.
Mine hosts, Gary and Sharon, took over the Church House Inn in the summer of 2007, bringing with them a wealth of experience in the hospitality business. Sharon is an outstanding cook and her menus offer something for every palate. Her Sunday Carvery, when there are 3 different roasts served, is particularly popular, so much so that booking is essential. To accompany your meal, there's a comprehensive selection of beverages available, including 2 real ales - Brains Bitter and Brains SA.
The Church House Inn is child friendly with a play area in the excellent beer garden where during the summer months, there's also a bouncy castle. Once a month, the Inn holds a themed evening and there's also occassional entertainment. The Church House Inn has disabled access throughout and all major credit cards, except American Express and Diners are welcomed. |
